ProxyUDP user guide
From your first account
to a working proxy.
Register, add funds, choose a plan, and connect your browser or app. Learn how to manage your proxy, renew access, and resolve common problems.
1. Quick start
A proxy routes the traffic of a configured app through another network. Buying a proxy does not automatically change the connection of your device: you must add its details to your app or import a supported VPN profile.
- 1 / Create your account. Register with your email address, activate the account using the email link, then log in.
- 2 / Choose and pay for a plan. Select a location, operator, duration, and data allowance. Pay with your balance or an available checkout method.
- 3 / Wait for activation. Once setup finishes, open Dashboard → My Subscriptions.
- 4 / Connect. Copy the HTTP or SOCKS5 details into your app, or import an available VLESS, OpenVPN, or WireGuard configuration.
- 5 / Check and maintain. Test from the configured app, check the expiry time, and renew before access ends.
Three different credentials: your website username/password signs you into ProxyUDP; the proxy login/password connects your app; an API token authorizes API requests. OpenVPN may have a separate login/password too. Use the credentials for the task you are doing.
2. Create & access your account
Register and activate
- Open Register.
- Enter a Username and a working Email address. The username accepts letters, digits, and
@ . + - _, up to 150 characters. - Enter a password with at least eight characters and repeat it in Password confirmation. It cannot be entirely numeric, commonly used, or too similar to your personal information.
- Complete the Cloudflare Turnstile security check; Register stays disabled until verification succeeds. Then select Register.
- Open the account activation email and follow its link. Successful activation signs you in and opens your dashboard. Check spam/junk if the email does not arrive.
- To sign in later, open Login, enter your username and password, and select Login.
Expected result: you can open your dashboard. If activation is missing or the link fails, contact support with your username and registration email. Do not send your password.
Forgot your password?
Select Forgot your password? on the login screen. Enter your account email, select Send me instructions!, and follow the email link to set a new password. Then return to Login. Check spam/junk and make sure you used the email associated with the account.
Use Logout when you finish on a shared device. Store website and proxy credentials securely.
3. Choose a proxy plan
- Open Home and use Choose your country and the operator buttons to narrow the plans.
- Read the product name, location, provider, and any notes. Some plans have restrictions or additional protocol support.
- Use the plan dropdown to choose the duration / data allowance / price. ∞ GB indicates an unlimited-data plan; a numeric GB value is a data limit.
- Select Order Now. If you are logged out, sign in to continue.
Hourly test plans are for checking suitability. Choose a daily or longer plan for continuous use. If Order Now reports that no proxies are available, choose another plan or try later; a catalog listing does not reserve capacity. Availability, prices, supported protocols, and locations vary; the current product card and checkout are the reference for your purchase.
A mobile carrier can route traffic through a regional exit elsewhere, and IP-location databases can disagree. A city reported by a checker is not proof of the modem’s physical location. Read the location FAQ if the reported region differs.
4. Top up your balance
Your balance is prepaid account credit. Adding funds does not by itself order or activate a proxy. You still need to complete checkout for the plan you want.
- Open Dashboard and select Top Up, or open Manage Balance → Top Up Balance.
- Enter Amount to Top Up in USD (minimum $1.00), or select a quick amount.
- Select an available Payment Method. At this guide’s last check, cryptocurrency was the enabled top-up option. The page can also offer Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, and Cryptocurrency; card and PayPal options appear only when enabled.
- Select Continue to Payment and follow the payment provider’s instructions. Review the amount before confirming.
- Return to Account Balance. Check that Available Balance has increased and the transaction is completed.
- Return to your plan or pending order and choose Pay with Account Balance to purchase it.
If you choose cryptocurrency
The site opens a UseGateway invoice headed ProxyUDP Balance Top-up. Verify the USD amount, choose the cryptocurrency and network under Payment method, then follow that invoice’s payment instructions. For example, USDT entries can have different network labels; select the one supported by your sending wallet. Use the asset, network, amount, address, and expiry shown on the current invoice. Do not reuse an old invoice address or assume two networks with the same asset name are interchangeable. Payment confirmation can take time; returning to the website does not itself confirm payment.
If funds have not appeared
Check Pending Top-ups and Recent Transactions. Use Pay Now only for an unpaid top-up where that button is offered. If you already paid, keep the payment reference and contact support before paying again. A pending invoice is not available balance.
5. Order & activate a proxy
- After selecting your plan, review Choose Your Payment Method → Order Summary: package, plan, USD price, and Order ID.
- If you have a promo code, enter it under Have a promo code? and select Apply. Confirm the displayed discount and final price before payment; use Remove to clear it.
- Choose Pay with Account Balance if you have enough credit, or another payment method offered at checkout. Balance payment spends your account credit when submitted.
- Complete the payment once. If your balance is too low, top up and return to the order; do not assume a top-up finishes the purchase.
- Wait for Setting up your proxy…. This screen updates automatically while setup runs. You can leave it and return to your account; the site indicates that it will email you when ready.
- Open Dashboard → My Subscriptions and find the new subscription. Check its connection details and expiry time.
Payment received, but no details yet? Activation is a separate step after payment. Check View Order History and the dashboard. If setup remains pending or reports an error, send support the Order ID instead of creating and paying for another order.
Checkout also offers Cancel and view order status. Use the order status screen to understand what happened; leaving checkout is not evidence that a payment has been reversed.
6. Find your proxy details
Open Dashboard → My Subscriptions. Each subscription card shows the product, status, expiry, and available controls. Buttons and protocols vary by subscription; use what your own card provides.
| Field | What to do with it |
|---|---|
| HTTP / SOCKS5 | Copy the connection line. Match the protocol and its port in your app. |
| XRAY / VLESS | Use Copy, QR / Full VLESS, or Show link / QR to import the full configuration. |
| OpenVPN Credentials | Use this separate login/password if your OpenVPN client asks for credentials. These may differ from HTTP/SOCKS5. |
| Current External IP | The last reported public exit address, with an update time when available. This is not necessarily the server address you enter in your app. |
| Modem DNS IP | A local modem address reachable through the proxy connection. Do not substitute it for your public proxy host. |
| IP Rotation URL | A private link for requesting an IP change, if supplied. Some subscriptions manage rotation only through the dashboard. |
| ID / expiry / status | Use the order reference for support. Check the countdown and status before troubleshooting a connection. |
Understand the copy format
HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
Illustrative example only:
proxy.example.com:1080:demo-user:demo-passwordIn an app with separate fields, enter proxy.example.com as host, 1080 as port, and the last two values as username and password. Replace every value with your own dashboard details. The example is not a working proxy.
HTTP and SOCKS5 may use different ports. Do not use the website’s login password, the Order ID, or the Current External IP in place of the displayed connection credentials.
7. Connect a browser or app
Use the app’s proxy settings
- Open the network/proxy settings of the browser profile, application, or proxy client you want to use.
- Choose HTTP or SOCKS5 to match the dashboard entry. For an HTTPS destination using an HTTP proxy, the proxy type is still HTTP unless your client explicitly specifies otherwise.
- Enter the host, matching port, proxy username, and proxy password in their separate fields. If importing a line, choose the app’s matching import format.
- For SOCKS5, enable remote/proxy DNS resolution if the client supports it.
- Save or apply the settings, connect if required, and test inside that same app or profile.
Only traffic routed through that app or client uses the proxy. Browser settings alone may not cover other apps, UDP traffic, DNS, or WebRTC. SOCKS5 UDP support requires a client that implements UDP forwarding; selecting SOCKS5 is not enough by itself.
If your browser has no proxy username/password fields
Use a compatible proxy client or browser profile tool that explicitly supports authenticated HTTP/SOCKS5. Some browsers use the operating system’s proxy settings. In Firefox, search Settings for proxy or Network Settings (menu placement varies by version). Its built-in SOCKS support has authentication limitations; do not assume it can use your authenticated SOCKS5 endpoint directly. See Mozilla’s connection settings and SOCKS authentication issue.
Optional: test with curl
These examples request an HTTPS page through your proxy. Replace the host, port, and username. With only a username in --proxy-user, curl prompts for the proxy password, avoiding a password in the command itself.
# HTTP proxy — use the HTTP port from your dashboard
curl --proxy http://PROXY_HOST:HTTP_PORT \
--proxy-user 'PROXY_USERNAME' https://example.com/
# SOCKS5 with hostname resolution through the proxy
curl --proxy socks5h://PROXY_HOST:SOCKS_PORT \
--proxy-user 'PROXY_USERNAME' https://example.com/A successful response confirms this HTTP request worked through the configured proxy. It does not test UDP or prove that every application uses the proxy. See the official curl options for client-specific details.
8. VLESS, OpenVPN & WireGuard
Use these options only when your subscription exposes them. A product advertising a protocol does not mean every subscription or client supports the same features.
XRAY / VLESS
- On your subscription, open QR / Full VLESS or Show link / QR.
- Copy the full
vless://link or scan its QR code in a compatible client. Do not copy the shortened preview text. - Import the profile, select it, and connect. Use the routing mode appropriate to your needs: an app proxy and a device-wide tunnel do not route the same traffic.
- Test the apps you intend to use. If the dashboard tells you to re-import after a change, import the new link.
OpenVPN
- Select the OpenVPN icon on your subscription to download its configuration.
- Import the downloaded
.ovpnfile into an OpenVPN-compatible client. In OpenVPN Connect, use My Profiles → Add → Upload File; see the official import guide. - If prompted, use the subscription’s OpenVPN Credentials when shown. Do not substitute your website login or assume the HTTP/SOCKS5 password is the same.
- Connect and test. Download and import a fresh file if the dashboard requests it after a location or connection change.
WireGuard
- Select WireGuard if available and download the configuration.
- Import the downloaded file into a WireGuard-compatible client using its tunnel/file import option. The official WireGuard clients are available for desktop and mobile.
- Activate the tunnel and verify your intended traffic. Use the supplied configuration; do not replace it with an HTTP/SOCKS5 credential line.
VPN coverage depends on the profile’s routes and the client’s settings. Keep configuration files, private keys, QR codes, and VLESS links private: they can grant access to your connection.
9. Verify your connection
- Check that the subscription is active and the app has the current credentials and correct protocol port.
- Open a test page from the configured browser or app. If you use a separate browser profile, test in that profile.
- Open the Bot Detection Checker in the configured browser to inspect the signals it reports. Review public IP, DNS, WebRTC, or other results where available.
- Compare the observed public exit IP with the connection you expect. The proxy host is the address your client connects to; the exit IP is what a destination sees, so they can differ.
- If you need UDP, QUIC, or a specific app, test that actual use case as well. Loading an ordinary page is not a UDP test.
If your home IP appears in traffic that should be proxied, check the app’s routing, DNS, and WebRTC settings. A checker result is a diagnostic signal, not a guarantee of anonymity or access to every website.
10. Change IP & manage settings
Request a new exit IP
- Open the active subscription in your dashboard.
- Select Change IP if available, or use the supplied IP Rotation URL.
- Wait for the result. If the modem is busy, follow the message and wait before retrying.
- Reconnect or refresh your app and check the exit IP again.
Rotation can briefly interrupt active connections, and a mobile carrier may return the same IP. The proxy connection host and port are not the same thing as the rotating exit IP. Keep rotation links private and avoid repeatedly triggering them.
Other controls, when available
| Control | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Check Status | Request an updated status and read the returned message. An Unknown result or status-check error does not by itself prove your subscription expired or that the proxy cannot connect; test the actual connection too. |
| Refresh | Refresh connection information on subscriptions that offer it. Follow any instruction to download a new OpenVPN file or re-import VLESS. |
| Reboot Modem | Use for connection recovery when supported. Test-only accounts cannot reboot a modem; an active regular plan is required. Some subscriptions do not offer reboot. Expect a temporary interruption and avoid repeated reboots. |
| Change OS Spoofing → Update | Select one of the offered OS fingerprints and apply it. If using a browser profile, match its user agent as the dashboard instructs. This does not change every browser fingerprint signal. |
| Jump State → Switch | For accounts with Jump access and eligible subscriptions, select an offered state and choose Switch. A successful switch costs $0.50 from Account Balance, with a 30-minute cooldown and up to six jumps per 24 hours. Capacity is required. Re-download OpenVPN and re-import VLESS when instructed. |
If a control is missing, it may not be supported for that subscription or its current status. Use support to clarify availability; do not reuse another subscription’s action links.
11. Renew & understand expiry
Extend manually
- Open your subscription and choose Extend Subscription, or the renewal button offered during its renewal window.
- Review the current subscription and available extension durations, data allowances, and prices.
- Select the desired Order Now extension and complete its payment flow.
- Return to the dashboard and verify the new expiry time and Subscription Extensions entry.
Manual extension is not available for every plan; some require ordering a new proxy instead. An active subscription extends from its current expiry; an allowed extension after expiry starts from the current time. Renew before expiry to reduce the chance of interruption or losing your allocated port. Use the current extension screen and resulting expiry as the reference; a new unpaid extension is not a completed renewal.
Auto-renewal
Where offered, use the Auto-renewal switch on the subscription. Keep enough available account balance for renewal and check the result before expiry. Auto-renewal uses the current tier price. Insufficient balance can turn auto-renewal off, so check and re-enable it after funding your account if needed. Enabling the switch is not a guarantee that renewal will succeed. Turn it off if you no longer want future automatic renewals; this does not reverse an already completed charge.
Expired subscriptions
Expired subscriptions may disappear from My Subscriptions. Check View Order History if a card is missing. Do not rely on a grace period or continued traffic after expiry. If a renewal action is offered, follow the displayed deadline; otherwise contact support or order a new plan. Once a port is released, the same endpoint may no longer be recoverable.
Hourly test plans have special expiry behavior. Do not rely on a test plan for ongoing service or assume it renews like a daily plan.
12. Payments & order history
Manage Balance shows available credit, pending top-ups, and recent transactions. View Order History shows your orders and their status. Use both when tracing a purchase: a successful top-up and a successful proxy purchase are separate events.
- Pending payment: verify whether you completed checkout before trying again.
- Payment completed, setup pending: wait for provisioning and check the existing order.
- Active: use the dashboard’s connection details and check the expiry.
- Failed, expired, or unavailable: read the displayed explanation and contact support if payment or access is unclear.
Keep your Order ID and payment reference. For refund or billing questions, contact support and consult the Terms of Service. Do not assume closing checkout or disabling auto-renewal refunds a payment.
13. API & referrals
Use the API
- Open Dashboard → API Access.
- Use Copy Token to obtain your API token and store it securely.
- Read the API guide and interactive API reference for current endpoints and limits.
Base URL: https://proxyudp.com/api/v1/
Authorization: Token YOUR_API_KEYPlace orders through the website: API ordering is not currently available. An API token is separate from proxy authentication. Keep it out of public code, screenshots, and URLs. Interactive API actions can change settings or spend balance; read each endpoint before executing it.
Referral Program
Open Dashboard → Referral Program, copy Your Referral Link, and share it with people you invite. This tab shows your current tier, rewards, and referral balance. Use CONTACT SUPPORT TO WITHDRAW for withdrawal inquiries; refer to the current program details rather than assuming a fixed reward rate.
14. Troubleshooting
Start with the subscription status, then check the protocol, host, port, and proxy credentials. Change one setting at a time and retest in the affected app.
I cannot log in or activate my account
Use your username on the login screen and complete email activation first. Check spam/junk for the activation email. Use password recovery for a forgotten password. If it still fails, contact support with your username and the error message.
I topped up, but no proxy appeared
Top-up adds account credit. Choose a plan and complete Pay with Account Balance for that order. If you already purchased, check Order History for payment and provisioning status.
I paid, but the balance or order is still pending
Check the existing transaction and payment provider confirmation. Cryptocurrency confirmations can take time. Do not pay twice to resolve a delayed update; provide support with the Order ID or top-up reference and payment receipt.
Authentication failed or HTTP 407
Re-copy the proxy login and password from the dashboard. Confirm that your app supports the chosen authentication method. Use proxy credentials, not your website login. For OpenVPN, use separate OpenVPN credentials where shown.
Connection refused, timed out, or no internet
Confirm the subscription is active, use the matching HTTP/SOCKS5 port, and check for stale settings. Try Check Status and follow its message. If supported, use Refresh or a single modem reboot and allow reconnection. Test another destination to distinguish a proxy connection problem from a destination-specific issue.
Web pages work, but UDP or an app does not
A working HTTP request only confirms that request. Check whether your client routes UDP and whether the chosen subscription/protocol supports it. Some apps ignore system proxy settings and need their own configuration or a supported tunnel.
The IP did not change, or the city looks wrong
Wait for the rotation result, then recheck inside the configured app. A carrier may reuse an IP, and its exit location can differ from the modem’s location. See the location FAQ. If you need a specific region, verify suitability before relying on the connection.
VLESS or OpenVPN stopped working after a change
Read the dashboard response. Re-import the full current VLESS link or re-download the OpenVPN file when instructed. Confirm any separately displayed OpenVPN credentials and reconnect.
The proxy is slow or a website blocks it
Mobile signal, network load, distance, and the destination can affect results. Compare another destination and check status. A proxy does not guarantee access to every website; read plan-specific restrictions and contact support with the affected app, time, and error.
15. Support & useful links
Contact @udproxy on Telegram or [email protected]. Include:
- Your username and relevant Order ID or top-up reference.
- The affected plan, app, operating system, and protocol.
- What you expected, what happened, and the exact error.
- When the issue occurred, including your time zone, and the checks you already tried.
Redact passwords, API tokens, private configuration links, and payment-card details from screenshots. Support can use your Order ID to investigate.
